# Refunds

> Learn about our credit refund policy.

When we are unable to process one or more assets that you submitted, we refund credits spent on those assets. Credits are returned to your account and you will see a change in your [Usage graph](/billing/usage).

Dropped-asset refunds for successful API Tasks are applied before the successful state is persisted. If an API Task fails completely, the compensating refund may be applied as part of or after failure persistence.
